Soho Crime is excited to announce author David Downing’s first U.S. book tour in support of Jack of Spies, in stores this May.

The tour launches at Once Upon a Crime bookstore in Minneapolis on May 12 and from there moves across New York and the east coast, over to Illinois and the west coast, and concludes in North Carolina at McIntyre’s Books on May 24.

Downing’s reputation has been built on his status as one of Soho Crime’s cult bestsellers, and Jack of Spies represents an achievement rivaling only the most nuanced, riveting historical spy novels yet published. It is the lead title on our Spring 2014 list; readers should prepare for a “remarkably engaging world tour of pre-World War One espionage featuring an honorable protagonist begging for a long series.”
