Is it just me, or do millennials get a lot of crap? They don’t know how to communicate. They’re glued to their phones. They’re directionless, entitled, coddled.

Well guess what, all you haters? A recent Pew Research project found a few positive attributes of millennials when it comes to reading:

  • Overall, 88 percent of Americans under 30 read a book in the past year, compared with 79 percent of those age 30 and older.

And perhaps even more interestingly:

  • Millennials’ lives are full of technology, but they are more likely than their elders to say that important information is not available on the internet.

Read on, millennials. Post those top-ten lists of books that have stayed with you on Facebook. Your reputation depends on it.
